JARTA
4D Soft's objectives include collaboration on development projects of the European Union, as well as the management of our innovative products developed in-house. Last year, two promising R&D projects were launched with the support of the New Hungary Development Plan.
4D Soft has several years of experience with EU research and development. Some of our significant results were achieved as part of the grant programme DILIGENT (A Testbed DIgital Library Infrastucture on Grid ENabled Technology, FP6-2003-IST), which was aimed at the development of a uniform digital library using Grid technology.
Utilising that significant experience, 4D Soft has also been making efforts to pave the way for long-term market success with in-house developments. As a result of several years of development, our company created a static analyzer in Java (JARTA), the functionality, accuracy and speed of which is unparalleled worldwide. While traditional impact analyzers that produce close to accurate results are capable of analyzing 30,000 to 50,000 lines on average, 4D Soft undertook to create an analyzer that can be used even with 1,000,000 lines.
The JARTA+ project, implemented as part of the grant programme KMOP-1.1.4-2007, and the development of the marketable product are approaching their final stages.
Unlike the previous prototype, JARTA+, the product version of which has been named DeepTest, is a tool that runs a step-by-step diagnosis of the internal structure of programs. A new feature is that the diagnosis can be run from any point of the program concerned.
