JATEST
Our company has been running a separate business to provide end-to-end software testing since 2003. One of our projects in this field was implemented as part of the grant programme KMOP-1.1.1-2007, with the objective of creating a test selection tool for the Java programming language, called JATEST.
The system was prepared for the selection of tests compiled in the JUnit framework. From the entire set of test cases, the test selection tool selects the tests that need to be run due to modifications to the program, and Jatest Junit Runner runs them.
The tool comprises three closely related units: one for each of instrumentation, source code difference analysis and test selection.
Using the tool makes it sufficient to run only a small fragment of previously run tests, enabling the enterprise to achieve significant savings on human resources, time and costs. Also, the greater the program system and thus the number of test cases, the greater the savings.
JATEST innovation offers a novel software testing tool in the market of automated testing tools, in the JAVA programming language. Additionally, it generates new results in program maintenance and regression testing.
