István Forgács - Managing Director, Testing
István Forgács graduated in 1980 and holds an MSc in Microwave Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology. He pursued his original profession until 1983 at the Metropolitan Works for Precision Mechanics. He then joined MTA SZTAKI, where he was first employed in the department of operations research. He became involved in testing and data flow analysis in the late 1980s. He earned his PhD in mathematics in 1993. At the end of 1998, he had the opportunity to implement one of his scientific achievements in practice, which led to the development of the program Y2K.O. Uniquely, the software identified Y2K errors in COBOL programs through the automated generation of test data.
He has been working for 4D Soft since 2003, where he is in charge of the department for testing. He became a managing director and owner of the company in 2005. Since then, he has led a number of EU projects.
Attila Horváth - Managing Director, Research and Development
Attila Horváth graduated in 1987 and holds an MSc in Computer Science, Systems and Software Engineering from Eötvös Lóránd University. After his studies he joined MTA SZTAKI (operations research department). In 1990 he was one of the founders 4D Soft Ltd.
His projects were included IT, SOA architect and project manager rules.

Currently he is managing of some development projects at Magyar Telekom.
István Siklósi - Managing Director, application development
István Siklósi has been involved in information technology for 40 years, since the birth of computing science in Hungary. INFELOR, his first workplace and a very powerful intellectual environment, followed the principle of implementing theoretical achievements in practice at the earliest possible opportunity. Today this is called research, development and innovation. With two of his colleagues who also considered innovation a priority, he founded a company, which became 4D Soft.
During his career, he has participated in about 60 projects as a programmer, systems analyst and later as a leader in the following fields:
- proof of program correctness (research)
- structured abstract models (research)
- development of compilers
- business process analysis
- design of integrated ERP systems
- design of web services
- project management
Endre Somos - Managing Director, Software Export
Endre Somos is an applied mathematician by qualification. He graduated in mathematics for economics, specializing in operations research.
Between 1973 and 1984, he worked on data processing and optimization projects at INFELOR/SZÁMKI/SZÁMALK, followed by software engineering at the Research Institute for Computing.
He has been working for 4D Soft since 1990, which he founded with his former colleagues. His field is ERP systems (finance and accounting, banking, patents and trademarks). He has also been working for Computer Packages, Inc. (CPI) for 15 years.
